Getting Started
Installing Blog Life Theme
Installing Blog Life wordpress Theme (Administration Panel)
- Get a copy of Blog Life Theme
- Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel.
- Click on Appearance -> Themes -> Add New
- Click on Upload Theme button at the top and browse the downloaded zip file in your computer.
- Click on Install button and then Activate the theme.
Installing Blog Life Theme (Cpanel / ftp)
- Get a copy of Blog Life Theme
- Unzip the downloaded zip file.
- Upload the unzipped file in to /wp-content/themes/
- Now, activate the theme by going to Appearance -> Themes in the wordpress dashboard.
- Activate the Blog Life Pro and Click on “Customize” in the Appearance Menu in the Dashboard. To edit the content of theme.
Updating Theme:

Since update are notified by the social media (twitter, facebook, gplus) of BlazeThemes. We recommend you to keep in touch with the social medias for the latest updates about the theme. After an update is released, you need to go to the downloads section of BlazeThemes.com and download the latest version.

Before You get Ready for Updating the theme you will need to make sure the following things:-
- If you edited the WordPress theme file previously, update may remove the settings that you have saved, so make sure that you have used the child themes.
- Backup your current theme using ftp and save it to your desired location. Go to your themes directory ->> Wp-content --> Themes using ftp and download the theme that you want to backup.
- Go to Admin->Dashboard->Theme and select another theme that you have installed except the theme that you are going to update and activate the theme.
- Go to the Theme that you want to update and click on it and a box will appear and click ok.
- Now follow all the steps of installing the theme as we have mentioned above.
- After you complete all the steps your theme has been updated.
Installation
To install this theme, you must have a working version of WordPress already installed. If you need help installing WordPress, follow the instructions in WordPress Org or you can watch the Instructional Video.

Now that you've downloaded our theme and installed latest version of WordPress here is how to install it.
- 1. FTP Upload: Unzip the download and upload the theme (blog-life.zip) into /your WordPress themes directory /wp-content/themes. Now, activate the theme by going to Appearance -> Themes in the wordpress dashboard.
- 2. WordPress Upload: This is definitely the easier route for most. Simply navigate to Appearance › Add New Themes › Upload. Click the “browse” button and locate the still zipped theme folder. The theme will be uploaded and then Activate the theme

Theme Requirements
To use Offshore, please make sure you are running WordPress 5.0 or higher, PHP 5.4 or higher, and MySQL 5.6 or higher. We have tested it with Mac, Windows and Linux. Below is a list of items you should ensure your host can comply with.
- Check to ensure that your web host has the minimum requirements to run WordPress.
- Always make sure they are running the latest version of WordPress.
- You can download the latest release of WordPress from official WordPress website.
- Always create secure passwords for FTP and Database.
- Recommended PHP Configuration Limits.
Many issues that you may run into such as; white screen, demo content fails when importing and other similar issues are all related to low PHP configuration limits. The solution is to increase the PHP limits. You can do this on your own, or contact your web host and ask them to increase those limits to a minimum as follows:
- max_execution_time 180
- memory_limit 128M
- post_max_size 32M
- upload_max_filesize 32M

How to add a logo?
- Step 1: Appearance > Customize
- Step 2: Select “Site Identity” panel.
- Step 3: Click “Select logo” or “Change logo” button and upload your logo.
- Step 4: Now save the logo by clicking “Save & Publish” button at the top of customizer sidebar.
How to add Favicon?
- Step 1: Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize.
- Step 2: Select “Site Identity” panel.
- Step 3: Click “Select Image” or “Change Image” button under Site Icon and upload your favicon image.
- Step 4: Now save the favicon by clicking “Save & Publish” button at the top of customizer sidebar.
